Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using Scape (“the Software”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software on macOS devices for personal or professional use. This license is subject to your compliance with these Terms and any applicable subscription requirements.

Scape is available in the following tiers:

• Free — Basic session monitoring and notifications.
• Pro ($9.99/month) — Unlimited orchestrators, unlimited updates, embedded terminal, and premium features.
• Supporter ($19.99/month) — Everything in Pro, plus feedback tools, roadmap influence, debug features, and more.

Subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time, and your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.

The Software periodically connects to our servers to validate your license. A valid internet connection is required for license validation. Tampering with, circumventing, or attempting to bypass the license validation mechanism is prohibited.

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Software, including its design, code, documentation, and content, are owned by Scape and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, service marks, or logos.

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
• Copy, redistribute, sublicense, or resell the Software
• Circumvent or disable any license validation or security features
• Use the Software for any unlawful purpose

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

IN NO EVENT SHALL SCAPE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, REGARDLESS OF THE CAUSE OF ACTION OR THEORY OF LIABILITY. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

We may terminate or suspend your license if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Software ceases immediately. You may terminate by uninstalling the Software and canceling any active subscription.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the Software after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
