Helm
A persistent project-level nav inside the file tree — access notes, playbooks, tables, and integrations even when deep in a repo's code.
The Helm is a collapsible section at the bottom of the left sidebar. It's your escape hatch back to the rest of the project — notes, playbooks, tables, integrations, and other project-level items — even when you're deep inside a specific repo's file browser.
Why it exists
When you're editing code in a repo, the file tree shows that repo's directory structure. The Helm sits below it, giving you one-click access to everything else in your project without leaving the file browser context.
What it shows
| Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Notes | Rich-text documents |
| Playbooks | Automation routines |
| Tables | Structured data tables |
| Links | Saved dev servers and web links |
| Inboxes | Integration items (Jira, GitHub, Slack) |
| Spaces | Chat rooms and backchannels |
Collapsing
Click the Helm header to collapse or expand it. When collapsed, the file tree gets the full sidebar height for repo navigation. When expanded, the Helm items appear below the repo file tree.
